“WORD” From God

By Pastor Jeannette Parrott

Recently, I went through a particularly difficult trial. It hit without warning.

This was something I had not previously faced in my lifetime, so I was really

at a loss as to what to do.

However, I really felt the “Word” I received from

God was to face each thing as it comes and walk out each phase one step

at a time.

I know now on the other side of the trial that that indeed was a

“Word” from God. I can say that because He specifically showed me what to

do; what actions to take. The reason this is so important is because on this

journey of what I have learned along the way, this trial would normally have

overwhelmed me completely. However, because I had an instruction from

God, it did not overtake me.

There are specific promises (revealed nearly 9 years ago) that God has

shown me, and they are not yet manifested in my life.

I am attempting to summarize in a few words more than 2700 days of living,

listening, learning, crying, rejoicing, fasting, praying, worshipping, rejoicing,

wondering, analyzing, resting, fidgeting, agonizing, yielding, surrendering,

wrestling, sitting in awe as I watch a tender-hearted God. He’s, my savior.

He is at work with someone like me. His gentle hand continues to mold and

shape my life into what He wants. Something that will ultimately bring glory

to His name.

These are some of the things I Have Learned While I Wait

…and the wait is not over…
